About
I am a Licensed Associate Counselor who brings a unique and compassionate perspective to my work, shaped by both life experience and a deep desire to help others heal and grow. Before entering the counseling field, I spent more than 25 years working as an accountant. While that career provided stability and valuable skills, a life-altering accident became a powerful turning point-one that invited reflection, realignment, and ultimately a courageous decision to pursue a more purpose-driven path.
Throughout my life, I have always been drawn to people and their stories. I have a natural curiosity about what shapes us, what holds us back, and what helps us move forward. Becoming a therapist allowed me to combine this passion with meaningful work—supporting individuals as they navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. I believe that everyone has an innate capacity for healing, and I feel honored to walk alongside clients as they begin to feel unstuck, rediscover hope, and build more fulfilling lives.
My approach is collaborative, empathetic, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including EMDR and trauma-informed care. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Whether I am working with teens, adults, or couples, I value building strong therapeutic relationships and tailoring treatment to each person’s unique needs, strengths, and goals.
Outside of my work, I find restoration in nature and the outdoors. I enjoy paddle boarding, exploring waterfalls and scenic trails, and spending time in calming natural spaces. Time with my family is deeply important to me, and I value meaningful connection, laughter, and shared experiences. These passions help keep me grounded and present—qualities I bring into my work with every client I serve.
